Glorious Banana Fritters - GF | DF | RSF

These 'oh so easy' delicious little nuggets of banana joy are sweet, crispy and all things yummy. But they're made even yummier being served guilt-free! 

They contain no refined sugars, and are a perfect little afternoon delight for your wee ones or big kids who are looking for a sweet treat that is allergen-free and ticks all the boxes. 

With just 5 main ingredients, and around 5 mins to make.. it's a glorious one for the GF repertoire!

Let's make it!

What you'll need:

• 3 Tbs Glorious Besan flour 
• 2 Ripe Bananas
  
• 1 Tbs Glorious Brown Rice flour
• 1/4 Cup plant mylk
• 1/2 tsp GF Baking powder 
• Pink of pink or sea salt 
  
  
• Healthy oil for frying (Grape seed or coconut oil is good).
• Optional powdered erythritol or syrup for serving. 

 
Directions

1. Heat around 1/4-1/2 a cup of oil in a small saucepan or small frying pan. Around 7 or med-hot.  

2. In a medium bowl, mash 1 banana, add your flours and then slowly incorporate your plant mylk to combine well.. 
3. Now with a butter knife cut chunks of your 2nd banana. 1cm slices, halved or quartered is a good size, add into batter and stir.
4. When oil is heated, use a tablespoon to make dollops of banana batter and gently lower into the oil. Try to include some banana chunks into each dollop. 
5. Turn cooking on each side for approximately 30 seconds or until crispy and golden, then turn onto paper towel. 

Enjoy with nice cream, a little maple syrup or low-sugar nuttela. Glorious!
